If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, contact us and someone from the club will be happy to help you. Please note that we are a trapshooting club and a shotgun-only range. We have no pistol, rifle, or archery facilities. We are open to the public and are located on the Southeast side of Janesville, WI, on the LaPrairie Park grounds. Our hours are 10 am to 4 pm the 1st Saturday in January to the 3rd Saturday in May, and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm all the rest of the year and Wednesdays all year weather permitting in the winter.
We have eight trap fields that support American-style trapshooting only, with one variant—Wobble trap. The trap houses contain Automatic Pat Traps™ controlled by Canterbury™ Wireless and Wired Voice Calls. A patterning board is available. We proudly throw standard orange-dome White-Flyer® targets from Recob’s.
The Janesville Conservation Club is considered one of the finest clubs in the Midwest for the high-caliber competition, the quality of targets thrown, the well-maintained equipment and grounds, the friendly, professional people, and the rustic clubhouse with good food.
Other club amenities, besides indoor plumbing and Wi-Fi, include the following:
We have food and beverages available from Mary’s Kitchen during winter jackpots, leagues, and all registered shoots. We do not serve alcoholic beverages at the club.
For members only, we sell primers, powder, wads, and lead shot from Recob’s.
We also sell towels, hats, barrel rests, blinders, wad knockers, and hull-pouch extenders.
We do not have an ATM machine at our club. We accept cash and checks for practice, shooting events, memberships, component sales, and shooting supplies.
